Welcome to Old Town Sluggers | where grit meets growth and every player becomes part of the family.

We’re more than just a baseball team. We’re a culture built on hard work, great attitudes, and a love for the game. Designed for dedicated players around ages 9 to 11, our travel team gives young athletes a chance to sharpen their skills, compete at a high level, and build real friendships on and off the field.

Whether it’s their first season of travel ball or they’ve been playing for years, our players train hard, play harder, and grow together. At Old Town Sluggers, we don’t just teach baseball, we teach teamwork, confidence, and what it means to be part of something special.

  • We typically practice twice a week to focus on skill development, teamwork, and game prep. In addition, we play about two tournaments per month, usually on weekends. We keep it competitive, fun, and balanced so families can plan ahead and players have time to grow both on and off the field.

  • Yes! We have an online team shop stocked with Old Town Sluggers merch like hats, stickers, and custom graphic tees—perfect for practices and showing off team pride.

    Uniform pieces (such as jerseys and pants) are only available through special order, so please reach out to our coaches directly for those items. We’ll make sure your player has everything they need to hit the field in style.

  • What makes Old Town Sluggers different from other teams?
    At Old Town Sluggers, we’re more than just a baseball team. We’re a family. Our focus goes beyond wins and losses. We prioritize character, coachability, and team culture. Players learn to compete with heart, support each other like brothers, and grow both on and off the field.

    Led by passionate coaches who truly care, we create an environment where fun meets fundamentals, and every player is valued, challenged, and encouraged. We build confident, well-rounded athletes who love the game and love being part of something bigger than themselves.

  • No overnight travel is required. We play within the Inland Empire and occasionally travel as far as San Diego for tournaments. All close enough to head home the same day. We keep travel manageable for families while still giving our players great competitive experiences.

  • Final costs are still being determined, but on average, families can expect to pay between $1,000 to $2,000 per season for an 11U travel baseball team in the Temecula area.

    This includes expenses like uniforms, tournament entry fees, field rentals, insurance, and team equipment. All of which are covered out-of-pocket by families. We do our best to keep costs fair and transparent, and we’ll provide a full breakdown once everything is finalized.

    If needed, we also explore fundraising options to help support our team.

  • Not at all! While experience is always helpful, it’s not required. We’re looking for coachable kids with great attitudes who love the game and want to grow. Whether it’s your player’s first time in travel ball or they’ve been playing for years, we focus on development, teamwork, and helping every athlete reach their full potential.
